Spectacular… we recommend
Everything was fantastic, from Giuseppe's kind welcome despite the closure, to making us feel at home despite our state after four hours of walking but above all the excellent food and wine!!!! Homemade appetizer, beautifully rich and with quality products (the tasteless bread was also appreciated to pair with the cured meats). The first courses with homemade pasta, tagliatelle and truffle gnocchi with flakes on top!!!!
I have to come back to try the house dish, goose sauce with innards!!!!
The young owner was very kind and nice!
The final bill is truly humble for being a farmhouse.
So it was a really good choice to stop. It filled our hearts and bellies before returning to Emilia!!!!!

Agriturismo Il Pioppo is a clean and cozy place, basically a medieval building (consistent with the architecture around Valfabbrica and Gubbio).
When we got there it took some time for the waiters to come but they were kind and helpful any time we asked for other supplies. The professional service needs some improvements (water and bread came after 10/15 minutes we sat down).
The meat was tasty and flavourful. As for the pasta, it was plentiful and good. Most of the dishes are truffle flavoured, according to the region’s traditions and culture.
Prices were a bit too high (meat portions were quite small, as well as the dessert one).
