The Ligurians are nicer

Very unsympathetic managers: guests are considered as disturbers of the peace and the most varied requests received badly. Excessive price for services offered, rooms on the second floor under the roof very hot

Cozy hotel, great food, Covered parking for motorcycles

I stayed at this property for a weekend, being in a strategic position to do the various hills on a motorcycle.
Great food, I tried a type of pasta typical of the place that is homemade... really good.
The room was newly renovated and was well cleaned.
Not a small detail, Covered parking for our motorcycles.
The owners friendly and helpful.

Unpleasant atmosphere!

I didn't feel comfortable in this hotel from the beginning. I had chosen the hotel because a hotel parking lot was offered. However, the hotel parking lot was completely full because it is quite small and also the company car and a small truck parked there. When I asked if I could put my car in one of the empty covered parking spaces, I was told that these spaces were reserved for motorcycles. Then when the company car was driven away to make room for another car, I wondered why it wasn't done for me. The unfriendly boss explained all this to me in a very rough tone and left me to a colleague. I asked this colleague if there was a way to cool my drinks. He said there was a guest fridge. I also cooled my drinks there, but unfortunately the fridge did not work.
The room was quite good, however, everything was a bit old and actually too expensive.
The breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. The hotel also has a restaurant!

Weekend Curling Competition at Vinadio.

4 of us from Scotland were visiting Vinadio for a curling competition weekend.We were staying three nights and overall found the experience very satisfactory.
We were lucky,in as such that I speak a bit of Italian,having Italian parentage in my family,so the transition from Italian to English and back to Italian was fairly seamless.The family run business was well maintained generally,and the hosts were really lovely,friendly and very helpful.I personally like these family run businesses,and generally find people who run them,very approachable and accommodating.
If I ever came back to Vinadio,for whatever reason,I wouldn't hesitate using Hotel Ligure again.
Grazie a tutti voi in famiglia per aver stato cosi cordiale verso il nostro gruppo scozzese(di curling).E stato un weekend bellissimo e spero personalmente a ritornare a Vinadio nel futuro.
