Parking was confusing. Everything else was great.

Modern hotel, very clean but no parking, no coffre machine, no safe and no air conditioning. Window open only a few inches so no possibility to get fresh air overnight. Temperature in the room was above 25 degrees.

In general it's a new, clean hotel. But apparently they still have issues, as I was given a key to a room only to find someone was already occupying it. Not a great 1st impression... Got a new room, of course, and no more issues after that, but there was no AC (not ideal at 30°C all day long), parking was a 5min walk away in a separate garage (though price was reasonable) and €20 for a very small continental breakfast nook with only standard stuff felt pretty expensive.

Great location but lacking in lots of amenities.
The hotel is in a great location, close to the castle. It is modern and clean. However, stayed in a very small and stuffy double room with no aircon, and in spite of being on the fourth floor we could not open the window more than one inch. No drinking glasses and only two small paper cups in the bathroom. Small quite worn towels. No telephone in the room. Unsecured WiFi network and unable to get mail or stream anything. Parking space next to hotel is council owned and max stay 15 minutes and in spite of just unloading suitcases and staying less than 15 minutes still given a substantial fine. All in all, not value for money and would not stay again.

I am sorry that several aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. I understand that the room became uncomfortably warm during your stay. Our rooms are equipped with a ventilation system rather than air conditioning, which is very common here in Denmark, but as the climate during the summer is getting hotter, it becomes less effective. We are looking for better solutions for this and I am sorry that it didn't give you the level of comfort necessary.
I am sorry to hear about the parking fine. Unfortunately, the parking area next to the hotel is operated by the local authorities, and we are unable to influence their enforcement. I understand how frustrating this must have been, especially when you were only unloading your luggage.
Thank you again for your honest feedback. While I regret that your stay did not provide the value you expected, I appreciate you bringing these points to my attention. Ceiling not finished (concrete slab)
If you turn up 15 minutes early, you'll get this BS; "We're still cleaning your room - had a busy night yesterday"
The only reason for staying here is to see the castle and only do one night
Really one of the worst customer service I've encountered.
Avoid at all costs
No net curtain
Cannot turn off lights (except via main switch by door) in fact the switch is faulty
No kettle
No aircon
No glasses, only paper cups
No parking - $40 / day public car park (which you have to get up for to pay before 8am)

Four Points Flex Hillerød is designed as a streamlined hotel concept, and amenities such as refrigerators, kettles, and in-room glassware are therefore not included. The room is designed with raw materials together with fine Scandinavian lines, but I regret that you got the experience of an unfinished product - the design is not for everyone. Our rooms are equipped with a ventilation system rather than air conditioning, and parking is available in nearby public parking areas, which are operated independently of the hotel. For future reference, with EasyPark you can schedule your parking at any time.
That said, I regret that your overall experience was affected by the condition of your room and your interaction with our team. Your comments regarding your check-in experience have been shared internally so they can be reviewed and addressed where necessary.
