The good is so close: Belchenhotel Jägerstüble!
Already the following day, we relaxed in the fresh mountain air (1100 m above sea level), after a refreshing dip in the natural pool, on one of the many comfortable loungers under the sunshade, and looked forward to the evening gourmet menu.
We have known the Belchenhotel Jägerstüble for over 40(!) Years and experience beautiful vacation days there again and again. However, we also regularly take a day trip to the Belchenhotel Jägerstüble and then comfortably ride the gondola to the highest restaurant in the Black Forest (4,462 ft) after a delicious lunch. From there, one can leisurely hike the 1.5 km circular path to the king of the Black Forest mountains (Belchen summit 4,636 ft). The panoramic view is sensational! In good weather, one can see the snow-covered Swiss Alps, the Vosges, the Rhine Valley, and the surrounding Black Forest mountains. After all the fascinating distant views, we always look forward to the crowning conclusion of our Black Forest trip: Coffee with Black Forest cherry cake at the Belchenhotel Jägerstüble and a short, warm conversation with the senior manager, Mrs. Dietsche!
