Great Airport Hotel, large rooms, nice pool, but inconsistent service

Overall, this is a very pleasant airport hotel with spacious rooms, an excellent pool and spa area, and a particularly welcome standard check-out time of 12:00 noon, which does not even appear to require a late check-out request. For an overnight stay before a flight or a trade show, the hotel is a very good choice.
Unfortunately, the service was inconsistent. The check-in experience was excellent and exactly what one would expect from a hotel in this category. However, there were no bathrobes or slippers in the room. We assumed they would be available in the spa area, but there was no staff member present to assist us, leaving us with no choice but to walk back to our room in wet swimwear.
Room service was even more disappointing. While the staff remained polite throughout, there seemed to be a lack of understanding of what good service entails. Although the hotel provides a dedicated room service phone number and accepts orders by telephone, the staff member insisted that we place our order via a QR code instead. When we declined, our order took almost two hours to arrive. The food itself was mediocre at best and, for a hotel of this category, the quality was frankly unacceptable.
To the hotel's credit, the service manager was understanding and responsive to our feedback and ultimately removed the meal from the bill. It would, of course, be preferable if such issues did not arise in the first place, but at least the hotel's handling of the situation demonstrated a genuine desire to do better.

Great breakfast and spacious rooms

The hotel is right next to the airport, which is very convenient for air travelers. The check-in was quick and fast. The room was pleasantly large with a reasonable desk. Also the bathroom was of good size. The sound insulation to the corridor was fine. The breakfast with fresh egg station was particularly positive, so you could also get a very good omelet. In addition, a wide selection of cold and hot dishes. Overall, the hotel is quite large but very pleasantly open.

Mistakinly ordered breakfast on second night and this couldn’t be refunded - we were leaving at 5am. Given lunch bags which could not bectaken through srcurity.
The vending machines were pretty much empty for the two days we were there.
Nearly impossible to get milk forvthe room.

If staying over at the airport can be made to be easy and relaxing, Maritim succeeds at that. Quiet, extremely easy to reach from the terminal and spacious rooms.

The staff was kind and helpful. The hotel is just perfect to start your travel since you land. Great location near the airport and s-bahn and buses
