Pure happiness and Christmas feelings
The family-run hotel left nothing to be desired.
Restaurant: Outstanding is the very good honest cuisine of Chef Alexander. The sauces are particularly noteworthy, as each is a taste dream in itself. The “Little Italian” dessert remains unforgettable. The various dining rooms in the restaurant area are very tastefully decorated. Muted colors in muted green, gray, blue or high-quality wallpaper with color-coordinated decoration, do soothingly good.. The table layout is strikingly generous. One feels unobserved and undisturbed in conversation.
Breakfast: Breakfast is rich with a wide range of high-quality bread and rolls. Fresh fruit, fish, sausage, cheese, cereals, egg dishes - all there. The heather ham was a dream. Maren who watches over the breakfast guests was very attentive.
Hotel: Our room “Löns Appartement” facing the street out, was well equipped and the windows well insulated, which was important because of the cobblestones. There was a small shopping area with products and gifts from the region. The daughter of the house at the reception always made a personal connection to the guests, had the overview and fulfilled all wishes. In addition, she made most of the Christmas decorations herself. This year there were small house facades from old menus.
Programme: The Christmas package had it all. Whether it was games afternoons or the hiking program with twin sisters Susanne and Kerstin, the crafting of paper stars or the reading of various Christmas stories, were on offer. The whole thing with a wonderfully delicious cake buffet. The family manages to harness friends and acquaintances. In addition, the guests got to know each other casually during these activities. Worth mentioning was Christmas Eve, when even Santa Claus brought gifts to the big tables after an incredibly good buffet in the kitchen.
Environment: Conspicuously beautiful Christmas decoration was all tired. The church is very nice and there was enough offer at Christmas to visit you. The lake, the wildlife park, the old cemetery - within walking distance there was much to discover. But also Celle, Lüneburg was easy to reach and worth seeing.
Special: The conversations with the senior manager about the origin and further development of the company remain unforgettable.

Great family run hotel that ticks all the boxes!
I very seldom rate hotels as Excellent, I feel there is always something to improve. However, this is an exception. Fantastic staff, friendly and attentive. Great decor and spotlessly clean. We had booked the ” Kulinarischer Zwischenstopp” which included a double room on the garden side, a 4-course dinner, breakfast and a packed lunch. Spacious room, again spotless, comfortable beds and a nice seating area for two. Good wifi. The dinner was good and the breakfast buffet plentiful. Quiet surroundings. Free parking outside. If there is anything on the negative side, it would be that there is no lift, but then that may not be a problem for most people. Can recommend and will come again.

A great hotel. Refreshing to find something like this in Germany.
I stay at this hotel once a year and I'm always impressed by how great this hotel is. The service is great. Always friendly. Always courteous. Everything is possible. The rooms are great. I always enjoy it here and can highly recommend it.
