Fantastic wee cabin.

Absolutely fantastic cabin. Was perfect for a quiet break. Very close to the airport and easy to access.
Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Fantastic and friendly host. Very clean and perfect amenities.
Definitely come back, the hot tub was fantastic. The kids really enjoyed it.
Very good value for money and highly recommend.

We don’t recommend it.
Pros: very responsive hosts
Cons: Cabin was very small. The bunk bed in the second bedroom was very small. Good for little kids perhaps. Definitely not for anyone taller than 5 feet. The sulphur smell in hot water was very prominent. Also, the cabin we got was nothing like the pictures. We booked this for the washer/dryer and tall ceilings. Our cabin had neither of them. Host confirmed that the posting has pictures of 3-4 different cabins combined. Not just of the one we booked. Cleanliness was also an issue. There were spiders and flies in the cabin. Kitchen was very very small.

Beautiful place and stay. Very clean. Comfy beds. Only two small inconveniences, Hot tub wasn’t hot enough for our liking even with the water mixer turned to hottest, so we didn’t use it, the wind made it too cold and the water cooled too quickly. No laundry in our unit, must have been in other units. We would recommend it to others but would let them know those two details.

Cool place next to Reykjavík airport, but feels remote

10 min drive to airport. Super well appointed room where they provide coffee creamer, sugar, washer, and dryer a great couch with a view and a hot tub way better than staying at a hotel at the airport. It’s a great spot to view the northern lights because it’s dark it is smack next to a golf course. Your cabin is between the golf course and the ocean. Very cool place to stay when you’re flying in and out of Reykjavík.

The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking a large meal for four. There is a supermarket within a 20 minute drive and a few restaurants. The lodge itself was lovely and warm and ideal for a quiet evening trying to see the northern lights. It was perfect for our last two nights in Iceland as it's 30 mins from the Blue Lagoon and 13 minutes to the airport. Will definitely look to stay here on our next trip to Iceland.
