Great place to stay

We used this place as an extra stop on our summer vacation. The people are very friendly, the room quite spacious (2 separate bedrooms in the family room) and clean. The road up from Seeboden is somewhat off a challenge, the longer way round via Spittal is easier.

Family Inn St. Wolfgang Review

The Family Inn St. Wolfgang was a great experience for us. A beautiful location with many opportunities to keep yourself and your children busy. Especially the animals (donkeys, cows, rabbits, goats, ducks)
were a super opportunity to get closer to them.
We found the breakfast to be very delicious and varied.
The rooms were very clean and modern, but still furnished in a typical Austrian style.
The family that runs the inn is very nice and welcomes you warmly.
We as a family can only recommend the inn.

very clean, quiet rustic paradise, staff super nice, pay attention to regionality

I myself work in the field and spend the night with numerous different providers. For about 1 year I count myself here as a regular customer.
There are different room sizes, all generously sized and always tip top clean!!
Overnight stay with breakfast is offered here. Breakfast is plentiful, from homemade juices, cereals, cheeses, sausages, freshly prepared eggs, etc. and if possible it comes from the immediate vicinity!
Only the coffee machine may be waited for a short time if several people queue there at the same time.
If you want special things, like caviar, hot sausages, etc., I have never seen such a thing and I don't miss it either:-)
Dinner we no longer offer here, but there are simple solutions. In 5 minutes walk there is a very good inn, food can be ordered e.g. in Seeboden and delivered directly or you either drive in front over the asphalt road to Spittal, where you can eat there or from there the few minutes to Lake Millstättersee. Alternatively, you can take the bumpy forest path directly to Lake Mittstättersee, which will probably be a little adventure for some.
On the size of the driveways: On both roads I have already met partially and fully integrated motorhomes!! The short forest path from Seeboden I do not recommend with such vehicles!!!
The location is a paradise, quiet, in the middle of nature, children can let off steam, there is a terrace, quaint and lovingly decorated inside, drinks are available right through, the family is connected to nature, parking is numerous, ...
The staff is amazing! Whether the family itself or their employees! Everyone is friendly, helpful, direct and you feel they love what they do.

Very nice location and facilities

We stayed just one night on our way through Europe, but we enjoyed the location in the small village just outside Spittal. Remember to take the road from Spittal and not the one indicated by your GSM if you come from the north (it takes you on a narrow and step dirt road). Staff were very friendly, the room newly renovated and the restaurant fine for both dinner and breakfast.

Beautiful location, excellent staff

Booked at the last minute, made to feel very welcome by the family on arrival, friendly, happy to chat in English. Food was very good for the standard of hotel, served quickly too. The terrace offers some lovely views and was a welcome place to sit after a long motorbike ride, and to down a couple of cooling beers. Met some of the locals too, again made to feel welcome.
Room was nice, bed was comfortable and i had a very good nights sleep. Very quiet area, i made a good choice and plan to return this year.
