Nature

I give it a 5 because I had exactly what I wanted : being alone in nature with jungle views. The island itself is very calm and unique and you can rent a bicycle to cruise around the place. But on the property's side, maintenance and cleanliness should really improve. It was probably very nice when they first opened but the place is really run down. Overpriced for what you get in terms of quality. Khmer food was good.

Beautiful place but disappointing stay

Such a gorgeous island and the guesthouse itself is very special. Unfortunately the accommodation wasn’t particularly clean neither was the dining area (tables, menus, crocks..) the young girl who seemed to be running the place singlehandedly was delightful and extremely helpful but things did break down on her day off when we had to wake the staff for breakfast. Would have been less disappointed if it hadn’t been quite expensive.

Koh Trong lodge

What a beautiful place and surroundings! The staff, especilly So, is always available to help and serve meals. We had a great time there! Only 3km from the boat, taxi scooters wait for you, just hop on and you'll be there in no time. Perfect place if you need to relax as no WIFI, beach is a short walk/bike ride and not over crowded! Beautiful sunset and sunrise.

Nice but expensive for what it is

Lovely guesthouse on a lovely island, but a bit expensive for what it offers.
The food especially was not great, and most dishes were double the usual price.
I would recommend this guesthouse as long as you're aware of the price and the food being average (my fried rice and vegetables were covered in a sweet thick sauce which was not nice, gave me a stomach ache and I could not eat for 24 hours afterwards. Other dishes eaten beforehand were OK but not worth their price).

Beautiful hotel on the Mekong island

It's so peaceful to rest in the many hammock. The really high ceiling house is very agreeable.
The breakfast is not included but within a ok price. The dinner was ok, beer a bit expensive.
They have a very limited number of bikes for rent ($2!!), so we had to go to the next hotel to rent some (at the same price).
