Very nice... except that.

The terrace alone should receive 5 stars! Beautiful! Service was excellent (Koralie) and perfect food. We had room #5 in the attic. I reserve a star for the hostel.
The rooms are located in a partially renovated part of the building. Although having many charms, it is possible in my opinion to have charm and quality at the same time. What's missing here. From the outset there are no elevators, which is not a real problem in itself unless you are disabled. There are still sections of the interior walls unfinished (on mineral wool). Once again we can live with it even if the first impression is not great...Once we went to the room and fought a little with the shaky electronic lock, we arrive in a charming room, and good size. The king bed is okay. However, the bathroom contains only a 30''x 30'' shower and the toilet that is wedged between 2 walls has only about 26'' to 28'' maximum width of seating space. I'm on vacation so I'm not taking my tape measure with me...
I am not of standard size 6'1 , 300LBS but the building code exists for this reason in order to determine the building standards for all, which here could have been easily respected but which have unfortunately been ignored. The choice was made to go there at least expensive and 'fit' a full bathroom in too small a space instead of doing a small renovation in order to increase the surface of the bathroom so as to respect the building code and thus meet the needs of each user. For my part I had to use the toilet on the ground floor behind the reception during the 2 days of our stay because it was impossible for me to sit on the toilet.

Bad experience

Average room, it wasn't too difficult, but the techno music played until 3:00 a.m. and then the cleaning team moved the tables. The night scraped thank you! Never again. We could have been informed that it was the minimum, it’s great to make money on the backs of tourists.

Great stay

What a nice little place to stay friendly just like home booked for 2 days with and came wiyh a Fondue meal full course even with speciality coffe . room nice and cozy and quiet wright in the water front just great.

Séjour magique !

Nous venons depuis 15 ans dans cette Auberge car nous aimons l'emplacement au centre ville de Magog elle est très bien située. Il y a une magnifique Microbrasserie avec une grande terrasse sur le bord de l'eau. Cette année nous savions que l'auberge avait changé de propriétaire et nous avons été agréablement surpris les chambres ont été rénovées, elles sont très belles et le lit très confortable.

Auberge centenaire

Très grandes maison centenaire avec un certain charme.
Nous avions la chambre au dernier étage (2 nuits).
Les gens sont sympathiques, c'est simple.
Il y avait un chansonnier (moyen) le vendredi soir dans le bar, peu de gens (début mars).
Nous avions la fondue chinoise à volonté, très bon.
Chambre propre et simple.
À côté du parc avec patin à glace l'hiver et la plage l'été.
Proche du Mont Orford où nous sommes aller faire 2 randos, superbe montagne!
À proximité: Abbaye de Saint-Benoit-du-Lac où vous pouvez acheter du fromage et autres.
Restaurant: La mie d'Orford pour déjeuner, excellent!
