Good value
If you stay for more than couple of days, you can negotiate the price at the front desk.
For the price we paid (later I found out its almost the same as a room at some hostel without AC and pool), I think it has good value: located in the center of town, room is spacious and clean and can be cleaned everyday at your request, has AC and mini fridge, has clean pool and nice outdoor sitting area. Downside: wifi connection is very poor, sometimes has power outage problem.
Tips: Go check the room first before you decide which one to stay, make sure that the AC works well.

Rude receptionist
Terrible service, the receptionist was very rude, she wanted to charge me 150,000 pesos for 3 hours, she refused to call her manager, very poor service, I do not recommend it for your stay.

Budget hotel
Reached Leticia at night and checked out in the morning and hence decided to stay at this hotel. Very basic hotel and limited breakfast. Good for a night for the cost. Would not recommend for long stays.

A budget hotel at best
I spent 11 nights at the hotel in 4 different rooms. Each room had some kind of problem but they were all relatively clean and had working AC. The sink didn't work in the first, the bed was super hard in the second, and there was no toilet seat in the 3rd. I checked out for 3 nights and when I returned I got the 4th room where the sink & shower worked, it had a toilet seat, but the AC didn't work as well as the other 3 rooms. The hotel pros are great location, it's inexpensive, has AC, the linen & towels are clean, room is cleaned daily, and there are 2 adjacent restaurants for lunch & dinner if it's dumping rain. Also it's pretty bug free. I didn't use mosquito repellent while at the hotel or walking around Leticia. The cons is that the rooms are a run down, dimly lit, I never was able to connect my phone or PC to the internet, and there is no hot running water. Also the sliding doors to the closet were either stuck, falling off the tracks, or gone (the best). Plan on showering later in the day after the sun warms the water tank on the roof! The pool & deck area are nice but some of the guests love to have music blasting out of the supplied boom box. The hotel rate includes a simple breakfast but I walked over to the Waira Hotel every morning for their brunch which was excellent for $14,000 Colombian pesos (about $5.25 US).
I can recommend this hotel to anyone looking to spend $25/night for a clean room with breakfast if don't mind a 2 star accomodation. The staff was friendly and worked on the problems I found with my rooms including buying me a new toilet seat!

Wish We Had Shopped Around A Little More
Stayed here as a part of a travel group on our way in and out of the Amazon region. The group had stayed here in previous years, but this was my first time. The hotel is very central in Leticia and close to the river. There are also plenty of cambios (money exchange shops) around and great options for shopping and food in some of the more local markets. Now to the not so great...I won't say that I had high expectations as this hotel was in a smaller community, but I do have certain "hopes" when I stay somewhere. The front desk staff was not very friendly upon check-in and we had to wait about 45 minutes for our rooms even though we booked well in advance. The hotel offers Wi-Fi...I did see the router, but there was no Internet connectivity on either occasion we stayed. Also, there are different rates for stays with/without breakfast. This was not disclosed until after we sat down and were told we didn't get breakfast in not so nice terms. Finally, the true difficulty for me was coming home to the States and seeing bites all over my legs. At first, I assumed it came from the daily treks, but I found that everyone else in the group had the same. Our group physician (MD) diagnosed them as bedbug bites. Overall, the stay was very affordable and was close to the river, but these were the only redeeming qualities. Will definitely look elsewhere if I return to the area again.
