Top Wedding at Hotel Malin
The wedding ceremony took place in the Emilia hall, which was the perfect location for our special day. The wedding dinner was excellent and very delicious. Our guests stayed at the hotel – the rooms are modern, very well equipped and the beds extremely comfortable.
Everything was at the highest level from the organization to the conclusion. Of particular note is the possibility of organizing wedding hall, catering, desserts (including wedding cake), decoration and accommodation of guests in one place, which greatly facilitates the overall planning.
We would like to thank the entire team of the Hotel Malin for this unforgettable experience and the first-class service. We can recommend the Hotel Malin without restriction and warmly!

A good overall stay with some details to improve
The room was lavish and clean, with very modern decor, crisp linens and towels, but was too small to accommodate 3 adults. There was literally no space to move around or to store the luggage.
The bathroom was almost as small as the aircraft's toilet, but was super modern and clean (no amenities though).
It seems the third guest (booked and paid for) was somehow not acknowledged by the property as everything in the room was made for 2, which was really annoying and made our stay incomfortable.
The sofa-bed was very small/short and rock hard, not suitable for an adult, and although I like hard mattresses, it was a torture.
Coffee in the room was charged (2€ per capsule), while tea was free—unexpected for a hotel of this category.
Moreover, the room was not cleaned properly—there was no dusting, no vacuuming, and items were not refilled or replaced for actual number of guests.
The common areas were well maintained, updated and clean, the pool area was very nice and relaxing, the spa area was not functioning at all and was dead.
The breakfast was fantastic with an excellent quality and a huge variety of options, including allergy-friendly choices. The staff there were all great, proactive, professional and polite, others on the premises were also frendly and helpful, althoug communication among reception staff should be better.
We ate several times at the hotel restaurant on the beach. The food was expensive but very tasty. However, there was some inconsistency in service.
Although breakfast was included, we found the daily rate to be excessive for this time of year, and it felt more in line with what Le Méridien and InterContinental typically charge.
Due to the overall performance of the staff, the breakfast and the positive attitude of the hotel manager at check-out, I added one more star.

Well located hotel in Malisnka but still there are caveats.
Room and accessibility
The rooms are well equipped and recently renewed. However, our room was on the Third party floor, where there is no elevator. This meant we had to take 25 flights of stairs to reach the room, which was not easy with over 40kg of luggage. The reception was aware of our heavy suitcases, but nevertheless offered no assistance in carrying them. We were only informed that we had to take a few flights of stairs and go to the end of the hall, which became clear afterwards why they said that. There were 25!
View and room experience
Once we arrived in the room, which was more than okay, we noticed that the terrace offered a view of two mature pine trees, one of which had been dead for several years. As a result, the view was completely blocked by pine needles. When we addressed this at the reception, we were told that the trees could not be removed and that the room complied with the reservation (“Sea side” instead of “Sea view”). An option was offered to book a suite for one night, after which one would see if anything could be done about the situation. The reason for this was that buses arrived daily and it was not sure whether rooms would become available.
Breakfast and Service
The breakfast was rich and adequate, but the staff seemed to struggle to show a smile. In addition, the tablecloths were only superficially cleaned, leaving crumbs from the previous day on the tables. The view from the breakfast room was also obstructed by the curtains, which lost this plus.
Swimming pool and facilities
The pool is large enough to relax and there are plenty of sun loungers available, both by the pool and downstairs by the sea, where you can use them free of charge.
Location
The location of the hotel is more than perfect: it is quiet and nicely situated.
Conclusion
In summary, with some extra effort and a smile from the staff, this hotel would show much more of its value. Currently, however, the motto seems to be “Mass is cash register”.
