Atmospheric top location
Beautiful location on the Vecht. Beautiful cozy room with private terrace on the water. Nice to see the boats. The road on the other side of the water can sometimes be a bit noisy, but we did not immediately find it a problem. No air conditioning, so the room may be warm in high summer. All in all great and super nice staff.

Charged our credit card twice and refused to return the duplicate payment!
My wife and daughter stayed a night here. They booked directly with the hotel (reservation no. 7522).
At check-out on the 22nd July, they were charged via credit card for the 1 night's stay. When I looked at the credit card statement, I saw that they had been charged twice for the same amount by the hotel, on the same day, but using two different credit card merchant accounts ('Logement aan de Vecht 2 Breukelen' and MS*Landgoedswaenenve Amsterdam/Mews Systems BV').
We called 'Logement aan de Vecht' and instead of refunding the duplicate payment, they charged our card a 3rd time. This 3rd payment was eventually cancelled.
When we emailed this B&B with the evidence of the two transactions, they replied saying that they could not find any duplicate payments (which leads me to believe that they are completely dishonest, otherwise they would have followed up on my documented evidence and refunded the duplicate payment).
So, for 1 night's stay they charged another EUR 223.80 on top of the EUR 223.80 and won't refund it. If you stay here, then pay in cash only! Absolutely appalling experience. NEVER EVER AGAIN!

So cute ! Will stay again.
Super cute place - stopped over for one night, as had a business trip nearby starting the Monday .
Perfect for this, beautiful breakfast served in a grand room. The service was lovely and the whole feel is “home stay style” - if this isn’t for you then give this place a skip, it is “boutique” for a reason.
Room was beautifully decorated , the toilet was outside the room on the top floor so if you are toilet shy then avoid booking this room. The stairs are also very hectic so if you have loads of suitcases that will be a total nightmare .
Place is also right on a busy road so if you are a light sleeper then bring ear plugs - this didn’t bother us or retract from our lovely stay.
Restaurant next door was the highlight “slangevegt” and it’s one of the nicest places I’ve been for awhile, we had a fab time ! Would deffo stay again .

Unique and wonderful in all aspects
We stayed here with our family before and after a wedding that was held at a nearby venue. The location is fantastic, right on the river Veght. We were in the Portrait Gallery Room which provides a nice view of the passing boats.
The building is 300 years old and it has lots of unique period features.
But it also means that it has wooden floors. Some noise may therefore be heard from other rooms. It was not an issue at all, but other visitors may want to use the earplugs that you find in the bathroom . The rooms are spacious with high ceilings. The bathroom in our room has a shower with a massive showerhead.
The breakfast is exceptionally good and the service is superb.
We definitely want to go back soon.

Wonderful place!
We decided to have a weekend for the Family and the wife’s birthday! So we decided to look for something special. We ended up in this more than lovely place. The decor of this place is exceptional. It is not the diner dining place to be, but, lots of alternative places to order from or when possible to out to dinner too. The rooms are very very well equipped and the decor is so well done that we have decided to move in permanently. NO NOT true. But the style is incredible. Full of are and antiques. There is a store on the premises.
Breakfast is perfect. The bread is fresh and they make excellent coffee. Tea is available in lots of different kinds and tastes. Eggs are made to order. And fresh fruit to boot.
We will be back soon.
Oh before I forget. There is an old saloon boat to take you on the river for a lovely trip down memeory lane.
