Great Vibe!

Ok to be clear the rooms are basic and have some wear and tear. But.....the vibe in this place is really nice. Views are great on the volcano and a bit of a jungle feeling on this mountain. Great pool table and a great beer is the perfect combination here. To add to that the owner Arno will go out of his way to make your stay as great as possible. Ask him to make a tour for your and you will have lunch on a lake, you will see volcanos, sunsets and a touch of culture. I would say a combination of the highlights of Sulawesi.

Beautiful lodge

We stayed there two nights. The location is unfortunately a bit off the beaten track. But you can rent a scooter. The food was always really delicious. The room is quite small. Unfortunately, the mosquito net felt had never been washed, making sleeping uncomfortable. The bed was unfortunately nothing more. You have to put everything you have in the room in a box, otherwise you get uninvited visitors. I guess there was a rat in the room who stole my makeup, it was all behind the door.

Nice lodgings in forest setting. Great service and tours

The big stand-alone bungalows are spread out in some nice rain forest with birds and butterflies and looks across the valley to Lokon Volcano. omohon town is in the valley below, so it can get a bit noisy from traffic and music rising up to the lodge. I am cursed with being a super light sleeper and was worried about this but usually by sleep time the noise dies away and using earplugs allowed me to get good sleeps.
Best thing about the lodge was Arno the owner who gave fantastic personalised service to every guest. He went out of his way to meet and greet every quest and help in organising tours and providing all sorts of logistical and tourist and historical information etc for visiting some of the spectacular volcanoes, jungle and waterfalls in this north part of Sulawesi with at least 4-5 days of acitvities to do. Staff Friendly and food with the included breakfast was all good.
Awesome hospitality and job well done by the lodge owners and staff!

Very nice stay just outside the center

Beautiful private cabin like you're in the rainforest. Mosquito net. Good food, very good breakfast, nice tours, Arno helps you organize trips and transportation and knows a lot about the Minahasa region. Out of the hustle and bustle of downtown.
Compared to other tours in Sulawesi, the day trip is almost twice as expensive. You will see places that you cannot easily find yourself.

Luxury in the jungle

The Dutch Owner Arno personally welcomes you and asks you in the morning what your plans are and in the evening how your day was. It's in the middle of the jungle. You'll have to go up and down some stairs to get to the common area. Very good WiFi. Delicious breakfast with homemade bread. Beautiful lodges with very hot shower and a hammock on your porch. Arno knows and arranges a lot. There is also a Pool table. You can even get chips and chicken nuggets.
