Friendly, comfortable and clean
We were very happy with Cycas, the location was good in a quiet residential area conveniently located a short drive from Malelane
restaurants and shops.
We were welcomed by the owners and each of the rooms were in an suite chalets around the courtyard and small pool. We enjoyed a comfortable night and a good breakfast in the morning.
Overall Cycas was very good and value for money.

Served our purpose!
The room was spacious enough for 2 people, clean and had a comfortable bed. The room was very sparsely furnished; There was only one night table making it difficult for one person to keep even a glass of water near the bed. A small fridge was available under a very narrow table that hardly served space to make a cup of tea. Everything was very compact.
The manageress was very nice and helpful. She showed us a community kitchen where one could prepare food. So, that would have been useful if we were to stay longer.
There was access to a pool in the back as well, but the pool did not seem that clear.
There was secure parking inside the court, which had a gate with a coded lock. The general area seemed to be safe.
Free Wi-Fi was also available. The small TV installed high facing the bed had international channels like CNN.
Breakfast was not included in the price, but could be had for 80 Rands for person. It was the general breakfast stuff, nothing earth shaking. I only wished they could have maintained the only healthy item in that breakfast, fruits, healthy by not adding sweet unsavory-looking yellow custards into the fruit dish.
All in all, for the price, the place was OK for a night or two.
