Cheap
The price is very cheap, that's why I choose this place. But the bedroom is really small (no space inside the bedroom for luggages) and bed, toilets, kitchen and bathroom are not really clean. This hostel was okay for 2 night but not more.

Budget type accommodation
The most affordable hostel I found in Tokyo. Near the Komagome JR metro. Hard to locate during the first time because it wasn't in Google maps in English. There is no contact person. Location is on the 5th floor. No huge sign whatsoever. Only a small whiteboard in front which was hardly noticeable. You would find your name in front of the door upon arrival. There's a small dining are with 4 seats. There's a refrigerator. The heater wasn't working very well and sometimes the aircon too. The toilet was automatic though. Basically a good place for sleeping and its accessibility.

Needs improvement, Filthy
Location was great lots of affordable restaurants around. If you're just looking for somewhere to sleep this is already an OK value. Just ok. Towels were not provided, have to pay 100 yen for the rent which is ok but it doesn't feel clean. The place overall is unfortunately quite filthy specially given that it is in Japan. We are not expecting 5 star service but we have been to lots of hostels and this one is so bad that shoes were just placed inside the dormitory no slippers were provided so you have to walk in socks or barefoot where the shoes outside also walked into. Pillows doesn't have cases and sheets felt dirty. The beds wasn't small and is not that bad but the dormitory rooms are that you cant move a bit. There is just one toilet for women and one shower. The shower was the worst - it was just either very very hot lik 45-50C or very cold. There is a microwave but no plates, no dishwashing liquid, no cups were provided which was just basic for a hostel. I hope this will be taken as a constructive criticism. I would love to stay again I don't mind a small room as long as its clean. And there's a proper place for shoes and if only a heads up would be given to guests to bring their own slippers. Im not also sure how guests will survive during the summer. We went there and weather was around 12C at night but we were sweating as room temp was not controlled and there was no proper ventilation.
Also beware - there is no staff, you cant get in if you do not know the code. The guy will just go there in your indicated check in time so be careful.

Noisy
Booked hotel for night only to not sleep in the airport. Very small place. Not really dirty but not perfectly clean. Noise was a huge problem. And this noise was from people who stayed there. We asked them to be quiet but as a result didn't sleep well. So if you are not noise maker don't stay here

DO NOT STAY HERE. Dirty, tiny, noisy ...
The only good thing is the location (near the jr station on the Yamamoto line) in a quiet neighborhood
I stayed in different hostels in Tokyo and it was definitely the worse. Unless all Tokyo hostels in the 2000¥ range are fully booked, DO NOT STAY HERE. Here some reasons why : A/ This hostel is not clean - they do not change the sheets between guests (I was able to make sure of that as I got my bag in the late afternoon after checking out time) - mine smell funny and I was itchy in my "bed" - no shoe off policy - no soap to wash your hand - no clean towel to dry the dishes (just 2 cups, 2 glasses and 2 plates ...) B/ It is smaller than a capsule hotel. 8beds in a 9m2 room. No space for your bag or suitcase in the room unless you sleep with it. C/ No locker neither storage room. If you want you can let your bag in the corridor of the hostel. But as the place is really small, not everyone can do that. D/ Only one toilet and one shower per gender for at least 16-20 guests. And the sink station is in the corridor between the "kitchen" and the "reception". And they do not provide with towels. E/ No reception. You must call or send an email when you arrive. There is a "welcome note" to inform you ... Not convenient when you do not have a local number. F/ There is a karaoke place just below the hostel. So ear plugs are necessary if you want to try to sleep G/ Not the most important, but no one provide information for travelers. No info board. NOTHING ! I can find more reasons not to stay here, but I think you get the point. I am not that exigent but this place is WAY BELOW Japanese standards.
