Smile and good mood

We were greeted with a smile. Our charming hosts are very caring, impeccable room, hearty breakfast, always in a good mood. The village is very nice to walk there. The location allows for beautiful hikes and offers superb scenery. 100% recommendations

Les Volets Bleus: book now!

I stayed at Les Volets Bleus for 2 nights last weekend, as I was playing a gig in the area. I stayed in the "Marine" room. More of a luxury hotel room than a chambre d'hotes. Beautifully decorated, very clean, very quiet and comfortable. The owners are lovely guys who looked after their guests brilliantly. I can't recommend it enough.

A unique experience

My husband was cycling in this beautiful part of France and we had an overnight stay in this unusual B&B.It is a family concern and has been lovingly renovated. The host, Fabian, is a bit of a character and we managed to bridge the language barrier rather well. Shoes have to be taken off at the front door and slippers/scuffs were provided. He recommended a local restaurant for dinner that night and booked us a table; we were not disappointed. Breakfast the next morning was full of local produce and freshly home cooked pancakes. The 3 bedrooms that are available to book,have different themes. The Oriental room with a 4 poster bed, the Nautical room and the room we had was called"Teddies and Angels"- which as the name suggests has lots of stuffed bears and angel decor on the walls. The room was cosy with a comfortable bed and big bathroom with separate toilet. There is good wifi service and a couple of carparks out the front of the B&B.Thank you Fabian for an interesting visit.

Beautiful house, perfect location

We have just left Les Volets Bleus in Urbès having spent 6 relaxing and enjoyable days and nights in the Oriental Suite. This suite is spacious, very comfortable and perfectly suited for a short or a longer stay.
We were shown by the host, Fabien, the other rooms - Marine, Teddy and Angel - all were perfectly presented!
Set in a large garden and beside a small stream, Les Volets Bleus is set in a quiet village surrounded by beautiful green hills.
We chose Les Volets Bleus for a more personal experience and were not disappointed. Fabien was friendly and welcoming, more than helpful with local knowledge and tips, great company and a perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble. Oh, and good food also, as well as great knowledge of local restaurants.
Les Volets Bleus suited us well location-wise as we had chosen to explore parts of Alsace and surrounding areas by car. We were not disappointed - it is located within good driving distance of Strasbourg, Colmar, Belfort, Mulhouse and many other villages and towns, as well as Basel in Switzerland and Freiburg in Germany.

Wonderful and friendly B&B

Fabian provides a wonderful welcome to this small B&B tucked away in a beautiful and peaceful location.
Take advantage of the host's local knowledge and cooking (evening meals on request).
If you stay here take the opportunity to try at least one of the ferme-auberge in the region which are a truly authentic eating experience.
