Out of the ordinary experience

Excellent family stay in this magnificent castle, which offers us a journey through time with its rich history, a superb panorama due to its position, all this in addition to the warm welcome from its host who very willingly gives his time and is attentive little care!
Thank you very much, we will come back with great pleasure!

Exceptional stay at the castle

At the Château de Vollore, we stayed in a suite of style and charm perfectly equipped.
The host from Lafayette’s family was very pleasant and informative.
Breakfast was exceptional in a historic room with regional products.
We enjoyed the terrace with panoramic views of the Puys chain and the large pool.
Dinner possible at Hostel in nearby hamlet.
It is definitely worth getting off the highway and staying at Vollore Castle.

Well-kept stay with spectacular views

What a nice stay in a unique setting with fantastic views! Very warm welcome. You notice that the owners welcome everyone with great care and let them stay.
Beautiful artwork, beautiful and well-kept rooms, tasty and local breakfast,... We are so happy with this discovery! Ideal stopover (also for families) on the way to Andorra/Spain. We will definitely be back on occasion!

Great hotel

We were passing through and unfortunately only stayed one night. This castle deserves more time :-). Incredibly beautiful, very quiet and really very friendly landlords. A magnificent view over the countryside, a great pool and a delicious breakfast with regional ingredients... we will definitely come back.

Very poor customer service

We booked via the Chateau’s own website and got an automated confirmation. I emailed the owner twice in the lead up to our stay to ask them to confirm our booking and to tell us what time we cold check in as we had a long journey from the UK. I had no reply to my 2 messages. 24 hours before our stay I received a confirmation email. A few minutes later I received another email, and a voicemail message from the owner, telling me that my booking had been cancelled due to a problem with our suite. I believe that they had double booked us and that is why they cancelled us at such short notice having failed to communicate with us earlier. Very poor indeed and led us to have to find accommodation at the last minute on the first day of our holiday.
