Great place to stay
Amazing location, room overlooking the beach was lovely, clean and staff each day friendly as they refreshed room for us. Quite quiet, air conditioning amazing. We did half board which was brilliant with food meal times available plus lunch meals available to purchase.
Bit of a journey from airport as lots of drop offs locally but loved being away from main town area if Can Pickafort. The beach and facilities were excellent.

Great hotel right on the beach , great food staff super , only complaint is a/c is not great apart from that super

Lovely holiday at Son Baulo.
We booked a last minute holiday to Son Baulo with Tui.
We had a superior, sea view room on the 4th floor and had a lovely view of the beach and sea.
The room was spotlessly clean with plenty of storage and a walk on shower, we just wish we had known that we could have requested to have the air con on when we needed it as it went off at 7am just as we were getting up. The day before we came home I asked about it on reception, after a conversation with some other guests, and was told we could have paid 18 euros for the week and been able to use it when we needed it.
We were half board and the food was lovely with plenty of choice every day.
There was entertainment in the evening, it started the children, dancing and singing kareoke then a bingo session which didn’t go on too long then an entertainer who was good on the nights we went.
There is a Friday market just a short stroll along the front to the harbour which was well worth a visit.
It was really hot while we were there and a dip in the sea was just lovely.
We really enjoyed our holiday at the Son Baulo and would not hesitate to return.

Fantastic hotel
Wonderful holiday, no wonder guests return year after year.
We arrived after 11pm and offered food to eat. Very helpful staff and so hard working and very friendly.
Entertainment very good in hotel. Variety every night and bingo on a few nights.
Quieter area than Can Picafort, beautiful Nature Reserve at back of hotel and lovely walk along the beach leading to Necropolis.
Can Picafort a 15 min walk.
Bus stop to Palma/Alcudia/Arta and more is 10 min walk from hotel.
Food was very good and chefs and restaurant staff were so accommodating.
We were even allowed to keep our room for a small fee.
Pool area is vast and plenty beds and areas to sit, snack bar around pool area.
Overall a fantastic place to have a holiday. Highly recommend.
Would definitely return.

Really enjoyed our stay
Stayed at Son Bauló this summer and had a great time. The location is what sold it for me — you walk out the back of the hotel and you’re basically on the beach, and it’s the quieter end of Can Picafort next to the nature reserve, so it never felt rammed even in peak season.
Spent most days around the pool. Loungers and umbrellas are free, which isn’t a given these days, and the pool bar does decent snacks so you don’t have to go far. Room was comfortable and spotless, good AC, and a balcony we used every evening.
The food was a real highlight. Loads of variety at breakfast and dinner, and the à la carte place by the sea does a genuinely good paella — worth doing at least once.
Staff were friendly the whole time, and reception sorted anything we needed quickly. The walk along the promenade into the centre takes about 20 minutes and it’s a nice one in the evening.
No complaints at all. Would happily come back.
