Fergus Style Port de Soller Stay
Excellent hotel in a fantastic location by the port so convenient for the shops restsurants pharmacy etc. Very smooth and easy check in from the polite and and smiling Rosa.. sea view room did not disappoint, although small but clean and cool.Their breakfasts,are outstanding with fresh selection of fruits fresh juices cheeses etc. They made us perfect omelettes daily with onions and peppers. Its so nice to sit al fresco in the terrace and enjoy your breakfasts and dinners as trams chug by! All staff are friendly and courteous. However a few negatives; I wish they left us a free bottle of water daily in the room without prompting. And to charge for a glass of ice €1.50 is mean when you are paying a decent chunk for the room! The fridge could be cooler. And the last gripe: the reception person is always busy checking and out. They need two people to man the counter so you can have access for questions or advice.
All said and done, I would still come back here and have infact recommmended it to my f family.

Don’t assume you’ll get the room you book
I booked a suite directly with the hotel a few months in advance of our trip. It was for one night before we moved to our villa. It was supposed to be a treat for my partner’s birthday. We arrived very early at the hotel to be told that they’d made a mistake and we’d be staying in a double room. We had booked months previously when other rooms were still available so presumably others had booked after us. I got the impression that as we were there for one night we’d been shoved into what was left. They promised us a refund of the difference but so far despite me chasing several times I have had no response.
The room we were given was the smallest hotel room I’d ever stayed in. You could barely walk around the bed. The bathroom was tiny. The toilet seat was very yellow all around the inner rim. The shower screen was chipped and there wasn’t room to move around in there.
I wish we’d booked somewhere else.
In order to try and make the review balanced I will mention some good points. The breakfast was good. The location of the hotel is nice.
I won’t be returning. Soller is beautiful but there are other hotels with more positive comments.

Worst hotel room I have ever stayed in.
We have just returned from a two week holiday at this hotel. I booked this through Jet 2 and opted for a standard double room which I was informed had a balcony. On check in we were advised that we would be staying in the annexe which was located further up the road. The room consisted of one unit with inadequate hanging space. Two single beds shoved together with not enough room for my husband to access his side of the bed without going sideways hence banging his head on the wall when he got up.The air con didn't work properly and the fridge was warm.It also had a very small bathroom. Another worrying feature was there was no telephone in the room to call reception in case of an emergency. I requested to be moved to a room in the main hotel and was given a room that was even smaller but at least my husband could access the bed and also the toilet was roomier. I was told that none of the rooms had hanging space for dresses so I decided it would have to do. I had to pack up two suitcases and transport them myself (no offer of help from the staff) I hate playing the age game but I am over 80!!!
Description of the room I was given
A single unit with hanging space measuring 2"8' which when filled with clothes rendered the surface below unusable.
4 shelves measuring 1"7' One of these shelves contained a kettle and two cups and saucers (no tea bags) so you would think that you would be able to plug it in on the unit but no plug so it had to be plugged in beside the bed using up one of the only two plugs in the room. Pretty sure this is a health and safety issue?
There is one drawer which measures 1"2'
The space between the end of the bed and the unit measured 1"4' which was the access to the balcony.
The balcony itself measured just short of 3" with a definite slope.
The whole thing reminded me of student accommodation with worn patches on the corridor carpets
We also had an infestation of ants which I reported but eventually had to go and find housekeeping and get them to spray the room.
I did speak to the rep about having to hang clothes on any available ledge and was told that other clients found a good way was to hang them on the bathroom door !!!!!
The plus side of this hotel is that the staff were pleasant and the food was good although being asked to pay 3 euros for 3 ice cubes was a bit much.
I am not sure what the rest of the rooms in the hotel were like I can only comment on my room and its surroundings.
I would definitely go back to Port Soller but definitely not to this particular hotel.

Location is great right on the waterfront.
Staff friendly and helpful

4th Time Back!
It was absolutely brilliant to be back at the Fergus Style Port de Sóller. We have stayed before, and once again it proved to be the perfect hotel for everything we look for in a holiday.
The location is fantastic, right opposite the beautiful beach that we adore and within easy walking distance of some excellent restaurants. The hotel itself is superb, but what truly makes every stay special is the people.
A huge thank you to the reception team, especially Alfredo, Carolina and Rosa, who were exceptionally friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.
Most of all, we want to recognise the incredible staff who make the whole holiday experience so memorable. Isa, Isangel, Jhon, Angel, Erik, Lela and Omar were all amazing. Their warmth, professionalism and genuine care are what make this hotel stand out from the rest.
And one final thing for anyone visiting Port de Sóller: the best breakfast in town is at the Fergus! Isabel is still the undisputed omelette queen, with Maria Antonia right behind her. Breakfast is always a highlight of our stay.
