Absolutely stunning view and perfect hosts

We absolutely loved our stay at the vista. We stayed in the sea view cabin (mahogany) and were blown away by the view, especially from the shower! What an experience! The owners Trish and Ian were incredibly warm and welcoming which only added to the experience. Trish put on a beautiful spread for breakfast, including a delicious barista made coffee.
The location is incredibly peaceful. Trish and Ian also supplied a BBQ for us to cook our dinner. The unit is fitted out with everything you need and is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished.

Wow breathtaking

The pictures just don’t do this place justice. On arrival we were met by Ian and shortly followed Trisha our hosts. The views are to die for. The best I’ve ever seen. Fabulous accommodation with all the extra touches you’d need for a stay.
Nice touch with a supplied bbq pack and time taken to explain the view and surrounding areas.
Would go back in a heartbeat as this place is magical.

Stunning balcony view and warm, helpful hosts

Everything was good and pleasant, and these two were especially wonderful – the stunning view from the cabin’s balcony, and the kindness of the family running the place, who gave us helpful advices for the rest of our journey.

Perfect location. And perfect hosts

What a fantastic stay! We arrived last night, without a booking. We had been driving for several hours, were tired, it was dark and bucketing down with rain so we decided it was time to get off the road. Ian and Trish were so incredibly welcoming and even though they don’t provide evening meals, they put a meal together for us with what they had available in the fridge, as we were hungry and did t want to go back out in the bad weather in search of food. How kind! The room was large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It even had a fridge and microwave. They have an enormous deck and the view would be spectacular (only we couldn’t see much because of the weather). The breakfast was excellent quality and they even have a coffee machine to make a proper flat white! Very warm people who can’t do enough for their guests. Can’t recommend staying here highly enough

Amazing, relaxing place to stay.

Our stay at Vista Hinchinbrook was amazing! We stayed in the Cassowary Cabin which was self-contained with everything provided to make our stay comfortable, including a microwave, toaster, electric frypan, and a BBQ on the large deck. All cooking utensils, microwave containers and crockery were provided, and there was even oil, salt and pepper, paper towel and aluminum foil.
In the bathroom there were large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed a good night's sleep.
Our hosts Ian and Patricia were lovely. They were friendly and helpful, and Ian even helped us carry our bags and esky up the stairs to the cabin.
The complimentary continental breakfast was enjoyable, with so much to choose from such as toast with different spreads, 4 types of cereals, a fruit platter, yoghurt, croissants, juices, tea and coffee/cappuccino to name just a few.
We also found out they do a high tea once a month so will definitely be booking for one in the future.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will look at staying again in the future.
