One of the nicest places that we have ever stayed in.

It was perfect, a quiet clean room after a day of driving from Hobart to Stanley via Queenstown in pretty wet weather. Perfect. Outstanding views from our window, nice touch in the bathroom with the hair straightener and the perfume.

Beautiful cottage, great atmosphere!

Loved this place! Gorgeous location, overlooking the water. Super clean. Very comfy bed, with great pillows. Very modern bathroom with wonderful double shower with pebble floor. Hosts Rhonda and Chris were so friendly and welcoming, made us feel at home. We appreciated the convenient off-street parking. Lots to see and do in the area.

Superb

We had a wonderful three night stay at the Ark. It is well located with views overlooking the ocean, with convenient parking and a short walk to cafes and restaurants. The Ark is beautifully renovated, and our room (Anderson) was very comfortable indeed, well appointed and a good size. Rhonda and Christer are great hosts providing a warm and inviting breakfast dining experience, including delicious homemade using mostly home grown produce. We highly recommend staying at the Ark and would love to return.

Comfortable stay

The Ark is beautifully located in Stanley with water view frontage. We stayed in the Admiral room which was upstairs. It is a very spacious room, including a large lounge area for relaxing. We only met the host (Rhonda) in the morning at breakfast. We did our own check-in, which we were advised on our day of arrival.
Breakfast was excellent, fresh, tasty and plentiful.
Parking is a bit tricky and very tight, unfortunately we damaged the hire car slightly when backing into the car park.
Thank you to our hosts for a relaxing, comfortable stay.
