Perfect family holiday
We spent a few nights at The Woods Farm and fell in love with everything here. From the prestige, beautiful property to the cute farm animals. It really is well put together.
We went in the off wedding session so not many people around but we still had the best time. Mandy was so lovely, we fed the animals every morning and she introduced us to all the animals.
The cabins are fitted out with just what you need while staying on the farm. We stayed in the StableHouse and the sun sets were gorgeous.
The feedback we have is, we didn’t have enough towels for the family. But easily sorted by visiting the reception. As we were cooking for our family of 4 morning lunch and dinner we needed more garage bags. We only had 1 over 4 days. And a broom would also be handy especially when grass etc comes in from the farm.
Overall, we will definitely be back. Maybe even in the warmer months so we can utilise the pool. Thanks for having us The Woods Farm Team!!

Very poor management
We had a wonderful three-day wedding at The Woods Farm thanks to our incredible vendors and the tireless ground staff. Unfortunately, the entire experience was poisoned by the venue’s management.
From the start, they were dismissive, condescending, and rigid over even the smallest details. Rather than supporting us, they created unnecessary stress and made everything harder. Their lack of professionalism was shocking for people in the wedding industry.
Even after the event, their behaviour sank lower. When guests tried to retrieve expensive items left behind, management’s response was essentially “cut your losses.” That’s not customer service, that’s contempt. On top of that, they manufactured damage claims to hold onto our deposit, which felt dishonest and opportunistic.
The Woods Farm itself is a beautiful venue, and the ground staff deserve huge credit. But the management are hostile, unhelpful, and completely unsuited to hospitality. They turned what should have been a joyful celebration into a bitter experience.
Future couples: don’t be fooled by the setting. The management will make your life difficult, show no care for you or your guests, and may even keep your money afterwards.

Avoid this place
As a person who built an event company across 17 countries and dealt with many cultures and various events my advice would be to avoid this place.
Without going into too much detail the service and cooperation for the joint managers was below poor.
The follow up communication and demands have ruined the memories of a good weekend. The event vendors were appalled at how the wedding couple have been communicated with and how awful the support was.
The weekend was recused by the outside vendors and was only hampered by the mismanagement of two managers who were out of their depth.
Without going into too much detail the service and cooperation for the joint managers was below poor.

What does ‘disabled access’ actually mean?
I'm struggling to write this. I feel bad for being so blunt, which is ridiculous because I'm the guest and this is an honest review. And it's always difficult writing a review of this nature because you worry that it will be met with defensive words rather than seeing it as an opportunity to do better.
But the fact remains that the website and booking site says, in multiple places, that the Flower House is 'disabled access' yet there is NOTHING accessible about the House at all. At a bare minimum, when one advertises 'disabled access' you would expect there to be no steps. There are lots of other things that make up 'access', but at a baseline, step free access is the first thing that comes to mind. But there's in fact a step to get the House, in at both doors! The "wider hallways" that are specifically mentioned on the site are in fact taken up by the placement of a China cabinet IN THE HALLWAY! And the "walk in shower" is useless when one can't actually walk. There's no accessible features as all in this House. No grab rails, no shower chair, nothing! So even if you can navigate the step there's nothing else.
It is laughable that you Woods Farm can even think that there's any way this house is disabled access. I mean, it would be laughable, if it didn't mean that my getaway was ruined within 30 seconds of arriving. There is quite literally NOTHING accessible about this.
I feel completely duped. Please, if you are thinking this will be a great accessible getaway, think again. It's not accessible.

Cosy glamping in Jervis Bay
We stayed in the glamping tents with our 2 kids and had so much fun. The weather wasn’t kind to us unfortunately but we all felt snug and cosy in our tent. Very comfortable beds and pillows. The amenities block is cleaned several times a day and is modern and comfortable too. We were able to make use of the camp kitchen which was small but useable. A suggestion would be to increase the cover of those BBQs as the rain meant that we couldn’t use them.
With trees down in the area we were without power so a period however the staff worked in terrible conditions to sort it out. We would love to return in better weather.
