Good hotel for Phu Quoc Island

Located on the beautiful sea frontage. The hotel has spacious rooms and especially large pool. here for free breakfast however the breakfast was not tasty. Other hotel services are good here for 150,000vnd/day motorbike rentals. The price of the hotel is comparatively competitive with other hotels. Before I came here I saw the reviews below. However, these reviews are not true to the current situation when I arrived. This is a 2 star hotel but I can see it in a 3 star hotel.

Dinner with ocean view

Typical ocean side restaurant. Fast to be seated. Huge dinning areas. Vast amount of live crabs, mantis shrimp, fish and zebra snails. 90 percent of shrimp were dead so inspect tanks before buying live.
Crab fried rice was excellent, crispy seafood noodle and fried squid were good too. They love putting fresh parsley on top of all food as decor. Seafood is not cheap here but affordable. Squid is 500k per kilo where in duong dong night market area is $135k per kilo.
Men's washroom is typical. You have to wash your hands outside of washroom. They had just moped floors with bleach so they do try to keep it clean. Some renos going on in front n side areas to expand.

Bad customer service and uncleanly

We came here for two nights. Refrigerator was broken and we asked for a replacement - even after delivering the broken unit to the lobby, they returned the defective unit to the room (I knew because the fridge's cord was repaired with electrical tape) after more than three hours. While we were out, they returned the fridge and left some peanut shells on the floor. I returned the unit on the lobby desk and told them to not bother with another. I also asked for a replacement set of towels after delivering a used set to the receptionist - I received two large towels about three hours later. There was a bug in the floor, and the room was in a sorry state. The paint is broken around the window and doors. The bathroom door wouldn't shut completely. The grout on the floor and bathroom was covered in grime. Wifi in the hotel is weak at best. The window in the bathroom is jammed open so air conditioning will escape due to the bathroom door not closing.
This is probably a hotel to avoid.

Hopeless

The service and security in this hotel is none existent. The staff show no interest in the guests at all and keys are thrown onto the reception for you and everyone else to help themselves on their return. My room was described as having a sea view that might have been achievable with binoculars as the hotel was situated across a busy, noisy road and opposite a hotel construction site where work seemed to go on around the clock. However it was the indifference of the staff and continual noise that ruined my stay.

Beach is near, rooms are big. If they sell a mountain view room, you still cannot see the mountain

We had room with mountain view, but that was a joke!!! There was only one window and it was in a bathroom, it was very small and it was very high. Im 183 cm tall, and i van say, that the window was almost 2 meters from the floor. Good thing was that the room was nice, big and clean.
Theres only 5 mins walk to the beach. But in the centrum, you need to walk 15-20 minutes or you need to take taxi.
They clean rooms daily, but never bring new towels, toilet paper, shampoo, bath gel. You have to call reception 5 times a day to get what you need. At least room service is very fast.some of the staff were not so attentive, when otherS were nice, smiling and helpful.
