Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cleanliness standards poor. Pen and bottle tops lay on roof sloping from balcony for duration of our stay. Had to rinse sand from shower after cleaning.
Breakfast very poor. Setting beautiful. Needed rubbish bins on beach for debris coming out of sea.

Wonderful vacation

“Thank you so much to the hotel team for making our holiday unforgettable!” It’s love at first sight: a compact, clean, green corner of heaven. The beach is so close you can hear the surf noise - perfect! The staff are very friendly, creating an incredibly warm and cozy atmosphere. We are absolutely thrilled! The friendliness of the staff is the best

We have already been to the Cocopalm 4 times, of course a lot has changed since our 1 visit 2017, unfortunately not everything for the positive.
In any case, what is still the same is the kindness of the employees, you always have a smile on your face and try to fulfill every wish. That's a lot of it.
The rooms are still nice, you just have to look that you don't have a room directly at the back of the neighboring resort bay where many huge air conditioning 24 hours cause noise. On the left side at the entrance to the resort are nice rooms, only for several months there is a huge construction site not 3 meters away from the rooms, does not work at all, as the construction site is working 24 hours.
The beach has enough sunbeds , so the hotel guest always finds a free place , the shade places are of course already occupied as all over the world in the morning at 7 am and are usually used only in the late afternoon, since the hotel staff would have to exercise more control.
The sea is very clean.
There are many good restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance.
It’s probably another year or two of a little paradise before the two huge hotels open right behind the Cocopalm.
Finally, a few comments to management.
The breakfast buffet has unfortunately gotten worse every year.
In the bathrooms, the totally mouldy roller blinds should be changed urgently and the curtains in the room understanding even from dirt, you should not touch them at all.
Unfortunately, after years the hotel beach is still littered with a lot of construction waste, partly with sharp objects, there is no change at all. Likewise, you should finally renovate the small cabin on the left of the beach, just doesn't look good.
And finally, maybe there should be a sign on the passage from the beach where the rooms start: Passage only for hotel guests.
All day there are many people walking through , you have no privacy on the lower terraces. very bad.

We had the most fabulous room with an unobstructed sea view from both the balcony and inside the room. The décor of the room is luxurious (in a classic colonial style), and the beds very comfortable. Bathroom huge and with great facilities.
Breakfast was varied and good.
The beach is just at your doorstep with free sunbeds and shelter from the sun if needed. The gardens behind are beautiful.
Staff very friendly.
Bar and restaurant prices in the resort itself (which is very small) are relatively expensive for Vietnam, but the road behind is full of fabulous family run restaurants and the fresh fish we found there was brilliant.

Great place by the sea. Not far ro walk for other restaurants.
