Great Hotel

From the minute we arrived we knew this hotel was special. A great welcome from the gentleman on duty who talked us through everything and showed us to room ( room 4)
Room was excellent with a very comfy bed. Food was excellent for both dinner and breakfast.
All areas were well decorated and very comfortable
Would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely be back

What a lovely surprise.

Four of us decided we would like lunch on Boxing Day. Most of our usual haunts were closed, rang the Commercial, no problem.
Lovely welcome, great choice of menu, and the food was delicious! The best Gammon steak I have had in a long long time. We shall certainly be back again.

Short break

Lovely hotel with the most friendly, helpful staff.
Food was excellent. Breakfast was outstanding - freshly made to a very high standard

Great stay

Had a great stay at The Commercial.
Friendly greeting upon arrival; attentive bar and restaurant staff; great food; absolutely comfy cosy room and bed.
Couldn't fault it.
Definitely recommended.

I really enjoyed my one night stay at the Commercial Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and the hot, lush shower a delight after a week’s camping in the Cairngorms. The food was also good, both at dinner and breakfast. The staff were all very friendly, and Martin - who seemed to be in charge - was very efficient. There was ample free car parking behind the hotel. Overall the Commercial Hotel has the feel of a traditional Scottish inn, right at the heart of its community with a very lively bar. All in all, a great stay - I’ll be back!
