Quality Bed & Breakfast

- Dinner and Breakfast excellent food quality, portions and service.
- Adequate parking

CONS
- 11pm curfew (12.30am if group event is notified in advance) Note: more central and cheaper self-catering options (without access restrictions) do exist, but require earlier booking
- low door lintels - i hit my head twice.
- No Air con
- No Safe
- sat nav takes you to the wrong (pedestrian) entrance - the vehicle entrance is 30 yards further down the road
- potentially suspension damaging drop in road surface where main road meets access road
- noise carries within house (floorboards and water)

WONDERFUL

This is a wonderful B&B with evening meals. We received a very warm welcome from Paula (owner with her husband Cyrill) when we arrived for our 6 night stay. Our 'room' was one of the two Coach House Cottages, which we can highly recommend. Lovely kitchen/dining/sitting area downstairs, and spacious bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It allowed us to come and go as we pleased and was very relaxing. I don't cook when on holiday, therefore, we had breakfast and dinner in the main house. The main house is full of character and in the evenings it was lovely to meet in the sitting room with other guests for a chat before dinner. All of the food was fantastic - breakfast and dinner. There is plenty of choice, presented and served by the most friendly, happy staff. There are lots of interesting places to visit, which are not too far away. Stonehenge is only 5 minutes drive. Salisbury around 20 minutes drive. We also visited Shaftsbury and Frome. We loved this B&B and our stay there. We are hoping to return, all being well. We Wish We Could Have Stayed Longer

While travelling from Dover to Cornwall, we spent one night at this charming B&B. There is convenient on-site parking, and the décor is delightfully traditional and quintessentially English. The mattresses were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a very good night’s sleep.
The hosts were wonderfully friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. Before dinner, we enjoyed a drink in the cosy lounge. The evening meal was freshly prepared, absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We can wholeheartedly recommend dining here.
In short, this is a place where travellers are made to feel genuinely at home and well looked after. Thank you for such a lovely experience – we only wish we could have stayed longer!

Mr woods

Pleasure of staying in this place and I’ve been a chef an indication trade for at least 30 years the way we were treated and the way they produce that breakfast and the unfriends was not right. The plates are so hot the food could’ve been cooked on them the quality of food was bad, and I mean really bad for the price charge and not only that they were very very unfriendly. My name is Mr Wood if Dave would like to reply to that they’re more than welcome to, they should watch what they say as I will sue them because they were that unfriendly. I just spoke as strong to back out your Window I strongly denythat and I would like to see your proof of that because that is slander and I need a fight right now you’ll do.
