WE FOUND A GEM!!!!
When we arrived, we were immediately greeted enthusiastically, shown our room. It overlooked a nice little back garden and behind that was a forested hill. The hotel is a family owned and run place, and they really do treat you like family there. We chatted with the owners, their daughter (who helped translate), and her friends who were there doing homework. We immediately felt at home. The last football (soccer) game of the season was the afternoon we arrived, and the owner put it on and watched it with us.
We had dinner there as well as the included breakfast. Both were delicious! We served the home-made dinner which included many special, unexpected treats. We couldn't eat another thing by the end of it. We kept thinking it would cost a fortune (and was worth it), but when we checked out, we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices were. This is one of the only places you can buy a bottle of lovely local wine and it doesn't feel like outright highway robbery! Between the delicious food and the great price for the dinner, we were well pleased.
The room was nice and quiet. But we were treated to the birdsong of dozens of birds whenever we opened the windows. If you are a birdwatcher, this place is ideal, and there are birdwatching tours provided locally. Tabiano is also home to a therapeutic hot spring. Our room was a comfortable size, and the shower was nice and hot, with plenty of water pressure. Everything was very, very clean.
We would definitely recommend this home-away-from-home, and we hope to be able to return at some point. We'd like to spend more time exploring than we were able to do this trip. We absolutely have this on our 'favorites' list.

Very kind, welcoming and always available.
A certainty every time we pass in the surroundings.
Also the food is great, super recommended if you pass in the surroundings.
For motorcyclists, ample parking available at the back or if you ask you can also put it indoors

Le camere e gli altri ambienti sono accoglienti e molto puliti .I titolari attenti e disponibili nei confronti di tutti gli ospiti .
I dintorni e le famose Terme di Tabiano , offrono svago e molto relax.
Un elogio speciale non può mancare, per la cucina di Mariagrazia , che ci ha deliziato con sublimi pietanze della tradizione emiliana.
Ci auguriamo di potervi tornare al più presto.
