“ Historic house the washhouse a blast from the past with modernity “We spent April 25 in this beautiful structure with the historic washhouse inside. The modern room with beams and mountain views, the breakfast room adjacent to the wash-house, with fireplace and stone coverings all very characteristic. Stop for cyclists in Castel di Sangro

We stayed in 3 and had breakfast during tours in and bike in Abruzzo. Nice structure, really. Excellent bike accommodation, taking advantage of the large entrance room, which houses Inter alia an entire former public washhouse. We then had room to charge the batteries and manage the bikes with comfort’. Yeah. Nice rooms, nice structure, great breakfast. The place is partly located at the cathedral of Castel di Sangro, in an excellent location. More than advisable. Thank you.

I stayed at Il Lavatoio and I was thrilled! The structure is beautiful, an ancient building renovated with care and skill, which has been able to keep intact its original charm.
Inside you can still admire the original antique washbasins, a unique detail that makes the experience really special.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the location is great for visiting Castel di Sangro and its surroundings.

A small pearl

We were guests at this bb for 14 days with my wife and my 14-year-old son.
The structure is very beautiful, it houses the ancient washhouse of the village that you can also visit along with the attached photo exhibition. Our room was very spacious, with double window, a comfortable and modern bathroom with SUPER shower! Breakfast is served but wide in choice and quantity. There is the possibility to rent electric bikes.
The owners and reception staff are very kind and always available for information about events in the village or excursions in the surroundings!
A special mention goes to the ladies of the Breakfast Service, especially to Mrs. Rita who has almost always taken care of us, nice friendly and attentive!
We will definitely be back
