Very nice and welcoming

No-frills but basic decentralized hotel in a not exactly scenic area. Supermarket attached to the property which is cared for. Super 5-star dinner.

We arrived about 1-1.5 hours ahead of checkin and they were able to accommodate us which was nice. The checkin staff was friendly and our room was beautiful with space and a jacuzzi shower which was a plus. Our room was only stocked with 2 pillows so when we requested 2 more, they were brought up with speed. That being said, the pillows and bed were flat. That’s something we’ve come to notice is very common in Italy so although we didn’t enjoy that, it’s all preference. What we really didn’t like was how loud it was at all hours. The doors are so heavy we could hear people going in and out of their room until about 1AM. Then it sounded like the room next to us was playing musical chairs. It was very difficult to sleep as the rooms aren’t sound proof. Also our room wouldn’t cool below 19 degrees Celsius. My boyfriend ate at the restaurant and said it was good and the continental breakfast was a nice, easy spread. It’s also great that this location is Nextdoor to a food mart, china mart, and gas station. There is also a laundry mat within a mile.

The room was clean and spacious with comfortable bed.
The shower wasn't great due to water pressure being too low.
There was a supermarket opposite the hotel, however had to walk for 10-15 minutes to find restaurants.
It would have been great if the receptionist would have advised us of the hotel shuttle bus when we asked about taxi. The info was only provided by a different receptionist at checkout.

Milazzo does not rhyme with Sollazzo

The hotel was recommended by a friend. The location is on a parallel to the seafront but on the other hand the hotel has a convenient parking. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very clean and tidy. My room was a single but equipped with a very comfortable double bed. The furniture is very modern and functional and the room is very clean. Some comments about the room: air conditioning system to review (noisy split), the refrigerator (noisy and can not be turned off) was filled with two bottles of water, a juice and nothing more. The bathroom kit included only one cap; always in the bathroom there were two dispensers (sink and shower) for shampoo, shower soap, hand soap and underwear.
on the bed there were only two pillows (nothing in the closet) both of the same type (very low). The only thing not perfectly clean was the shower rail with very old limestone fouling. The breakfast, included in the price, is a bit 'minimal for a four star .In conclusion, for a few euros more I would have preferred something more in the comfort of the room and in the assortment of breakfast.
