Central location, warm hostess, top breakfast

We stayed for one night in the coat of arms room.
For unloading we were lucky and found a parking space in front of the house. The hotel is centrally located just behind the castle. There is also parking behind the hotel.
The entrance is somewhat hidden by a small side passage. At our ringing the very warm owner made us.
The room overlooking the castle was very spacious, comfortable beds, laminate flooring and a large bathroom with shower. The bathroom not super modern but with everything you need.
Restaurants are within walking distance.
Biggest surprise what the breakfast - that was superb! Fresh fruit salad, yogurt, small waffles with vanilla sauce and raspberries, pastries, croissant, various rolls, a wide selection of cold cuts and cheese, vegetable casserole, homemade scrambled eggs, bacon, small meatballs, sliced vegetables, tomato mozzarella, various spreads and oven slippers. All in small portions, which are continuously replenished. Rounded off by juices, a nice tea selection and a fully automatic coffee machine for all coffee variations. We were thrilled.
All in the cozy coat of arms by the burning fireplace. No wonder that some guests who were not hotel guests also came to breakfast this weekend.
Overall a very nice stay. We can highly recommend the coat of arms.

Cosy accommodation, right at the castle!

We stayed with friends at the Christmas market in Erbach and had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Wappenstube. The breakfast was great and the rooms were also very nice! The proximity to the center is just awesome, restaurants are also in the immediate vicinity!

Lovely Hotel

Our stay here couldn't have been nicer! Located in the Altstadt, modern but with a traditional feel. Friendly, helpful staff and diligent in covid guidelines. Parking behind the hotel with a perfectly maintained courtyard. We have traveled much of Europe and most of Germany and I have yet to remember a better breakfast. It even outshines any castle we have stayed in. And a minibar which is a true luxury!!! Quiet and very clean. I would return to Erbach just to stay here again!

Quaint hotel with great service

Great little hotel in Erbach. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable, the one we were in was recently renovated and although we didn't bring them on this trip was a dog friendly room. The hotel is all you would expect for the area, staff are very friendly and the breakfast is amazing. Although they said the offer WiFi through a t-mobile hotspot we were unable to get a connection. A plus is also the parking at the rear of the hotel, this has to be entered through Bruekenstrasse as our sat nav tried to steer us through one way streets.

Our New "Regular" Stop

With family in nearby Michelstadt, we booked into the Wappenstube based on other reviews we'd read here. We were NOT disappointed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and included both breakfast and free off-street parking in the price. And about that breakfast... perhaps the best I've seen in any hotel in Germany!! Everything from eggs, meats, and cheeses to delicate heart-shaped waffles, crepes, and fresh raspberries. They even had a fire going in the quaint dining room to take the chill off the morning. You're right behind the palace here, so an easy walk to all the old town has to offer. This is definitely going to be our new go-to hotel in the area.
