Favorite German Hotel
Old Fashioned Charm.
Warm Friendly Service with personable staff.
Good selection on both menu's.
The breakfast is simple.
If/when I return I hope they have room.

Restaurant and Hotel TOP, Behavior of GL FLOP!! Never again!
Hotel itself (outhouse) nice and generous with some cuts (stairwell so lala, no lift).
Also the housekeepers were nice and polite.
But (as it turned out in retrospect it was the boss herself) the reception was unbearable when checking out! We were treated like lepers because we insisted on the confirmed room rates. Attempts were made to charge the breakfast additionally!! Only after repeated inquiries was the overbilled amount thrown on the counter with the indication: "there you have your money!!!" Are you okay? Also the whole organization from check in was very chaotic, unfriendly and unprofessional. For example, rooms were misallocated, a single room was large and had 2 sets of towels, a double room was small and was stocked with only one set of towels. We guests were then accused of moving into the wrong rooms. Again: "Are you still okay?" We certainly won't be coming back , that's what the boss wanted. Why? When you scare away guests like that, you don't have to be surprised if you can't get any more staff...... (a pity, because the food and restaurant with the service staff was really very good and pleasant). We were not surprised that only very old reviews can be read on almost all forums. Haven't any new reviews been submitted for the hotel or have they somehow gone down? Restaurant reviews were all good!

Ok place, friendly service, ok breakfast
The restaurant is more the typical German meat stuff. I went somewhere else for dinner.
