Prestige is a 3-star property located in Astana, facing the beach. The property is around 6.2 km from Bayterek Monument, 10 km from Expo 2017 Astana and 600 metres from Kazhimukan Munaitpasov Stadium. Perfect Astana experience

I spent 4 nights at the Prestige Hotel in Astana in May 2014. There are just 7 rooms - all on street level. Large, comfortable bed, free and fast wifi. It helps if you speak a little Russian but if not, don't panic as the staff are extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast is simple and tasty. The location is splendid - right on the river, so pleasant to stroll along the bank of an evening. Close to shopping centres. The hotel does not change money so best to change on arrival at Astana airport. If I return to Astana I will definitely stay here again.

Cozy hotel and friendly people

Prestige is a lovely and cozy hotel, located by the river malecon and by a pedestrian bridge. It is about 30 blocks from Baiterek but a radio taxi takes you there for 3.5 dollars. The ladies who ran the hotel (or at least the admin people) are aboslutelly professional to handle any request and friendly so as to make you feel comfortable. They are eager to help the passenger and have a good command of English too. (Russian desirable, of course). The building is new or pretty new, well located (4 blocks from the Radisson), the carpets look new, the mattreses are comfortable, and the breakfast is great (A Russian lady cooks deliciously). I had a room with a window overlooking the river so it was very nice. And the river walk is very pleasant in hot summer nights in Astana. The place is absolutelly recommendable. And the area is totally safe, even to be a lady on your own, as it was my case.

Excellent choice for tourists in Astana

Booked this hotel based on the limited review from TA, despite of the limited review, it was pretty accurate description and I am glad I took the right decision to book this for my one night stay in Astana.
All rooms are located on the ground floor. My single room is small but adequate. They are very clean.
Breakfast is provided, simple but adequate. The lady who prepares breakfast speaks only Russian.
The hotel is very small with 8 rooms only.
Location: There is a restaurant just across the street from the hotel and several other restaurants and Line Brew Bar/Restaurant all less than 5 mins walk.
There is a small supermarket about 10 mins walk away.
Terminal for river ferry cruise is about 3 minutes walk from the hotel.
There is a place next to the hotel for you to rent a bicycle if you wish to hire one.
Location to the main avenue with all the monuments is quite some distance. I will suggest taking a taxi to the Presidential Palace “blue house” which is the last end of the main avenue and slowly walk yourself back to “Khan Shah” which is one the shopping mall.
From there, it is about 30 minutes walk back to the hotel if you still feel OK.
Wifi is free but does not seem to work.
I will certainly recommend to independent tourists who are planning to make a trip to Astana.

Good Value in expensive Astana

This is an excellent but very small hotel (I think 7 rooms only). It is ideally situated right beside the foot bridge to the City Park on the right bank; so for sight seeing you have most of the points of interest within walking distance; also a number of restaurants and shops are within the vicinity of this hotel.
The room we had was clean and spacious with a flat screen TV (no English or other foreign language channels however) ; bathroom was very clean too (shower - no bath). All the rooms are on the ground floor but facing the river and are very quiet. Reception staff was friendly and helpful although speaking only limited English. There is a breakfast buffet which was reasonable but nothing special.
Considering the very high prices for hotels in Astana the US$ 130 (booked via booking.com) we paid for our double room are probably hard to beat for this class of hotel (officially a 3 Star but really quite nice).

Гуляли по набережной, понравился вид на Ишим, приятным удивлением были демократичные цены в самом центре столицы, красивый интерьер номеров, внимательный персонал, очень вкусный завтрак. Качество сна было отличным. если приедем еще раз, то только туда.
