I would definitely recommend this splendid hostel to people looking for accommodation at the foot of the dunes of Merzouga

Our personal desert
Merzouga is a remote village near the first real Saharan dunes. Le Petit Pince, in Merzouga, is an accommodation business that has rooms but also a space for campers. For campers it provides toilets and showers.
It then has a small field within the dunes. We slept there, brought with an off-roader and were the only guests. Traditional black tents, quite different from the white ones in the more touristy camps, insulate well from the cold. In each tent there are real beds with many blankets since night temperatures are cold. A large central tent houses the dining area although you can eat in the center of the camp, heated by the fire.
The dunes protect the camp and, climbing on the nearest ones, you can see poignant and exciting sunsets and sunrises. The night sky shines with millions of stars.
The reception was friendly and respectful (in the camp lives the son of the owner of the Petit Prince with his wife, young daughter and a few other people) and the excellent and plentiful meals.
We loved this much more traditional and intimate camp than many others in the area: for one day, we enjoyed an incredible piece of desert.

A breathtaking view of the dunes and an exceptional welcome
As soon as we arrived Hassan knew how to put us at ease around a mint tea. His kindness combined with his great knowledge of the area allowed us a very pleasant installation.
The spacious room, harmoniously decorated, is well equipped and equipped with excellent air conditioning, it also has a small refrigerator very convenient in these times of big heatwave.
The bathroom is functional and well maintained.
The dinners and breakfasts offered are very hearty, excellent value for money and above all everything is delicious, thanks also to Mustafa for having served us with kindness.
The parking is secure and the wifi works very well.
Having been unable to benefit from our buggy excursion, due to a sandstorm, we will return to the Little Prince and we will hand over to Hassan so that he can organize us this ride.
Many thanks Hassan for making our stay a wonderful one.
