Sympathy and serenity

Very beautiful residence in an authentic, quiet setting. Catherine our host is very welcoming, smiling, friendly and caring.
Very comfortable and tastefully decorated room. A dream night.
Hearty and excellent breakfast with homemade jams.
We keep the address carefully, we will come back with pleasure and we will recommend this splendid place to those around us.
Thank you to our host for these beautiful shared moments

Lovely charming b and b

Lovely bed and breakfast, happy hosts and gorgeous breakfast. Clean and tidy with some olde world charm. Easy to locate off motorway on route to or from Alpes. Would definitely stay again. Bedrooms were spacious and well maintained. Bathroom clean and tidy. Tea and coffee available.

A hidden gem for a perfect nights sleep

What a wonderful find. Catherine the owner was charming and so accommodating as due to traffic we arrived 3hrs later than planned. The house is beautiful and the inside was immaculate homely and comfortable.
We had a family room which had two single beds for the kids and a separate double bedroom for the adults which was perfect. Everything was very clean and the bed were very comfortable.
We loved how quiet it was as the house is tucked away in a village a short drive from Troyes.
We had dinner in the neighbouring town in Il Restaurante which was very good and should be booked in advance as it was fully booked. We also recieved a discount as we mentioned that we were staying at La Caroline.
Breakfast the next day was in a lovely dining room all to ourselves as we were the only ones staying that night. We were served delicious croissants, a variety of breads and exquisite home made which my daughter devoured.
This was a truly wonderful stay whilst returning home from the alps and we are very much looking forward to staying again in the future.

Superb. 5 stars

Stayed her in Jan as a halfway break from Morzine to Calais. Got lost on way and called to say that we would be late. Had a wonderful 4 course meal waiting for us. We dined with the two owners and later on a charming French couple joined us. Host and hostess are charming. They have only had the place open 6 months ( new owners). 5 bedrooms and ours was superb. Lovely very large bathroom ensuite. Not had breakfast yet but looking forward to it. Fantastic property and would not hesitate this to anyone. New beds were so comfortable.

Our favourite stop in France ! Wonderful !

We have reviewed before so it remains a charming glimpse into real France. The room is large and reasonably equipped with a large bathroom. We love eating with other travellers for dinner and this time shared a table with a French couple and a German couple for dinner (you eat what the proprietress cooks which is always good) and then at breakfast we were also joined by a Dutch couple. The meals are nice with wine and local aperitifs and excellent value. If you are happy to stay out in the country and eat home cooked meals of local produce then this is a great place to visit.
